Sometimes the manual therapy techniques are not pleasant but they are never painful. Why aren't they pleasant? Because improperly fixed joints, vertebras must be restored and shortened, spastic muscles must be stretched. These processes cannot be expected to run quite smoothly. If the tissues are inflamed and stiff the treatment can be unpleasant. You can feel aftereffects for 1-3 days because the body needs time to get used to the new position of the formerly blocked joints. The initial complaints and pains subside already after the first treatment. Patients say that the discomfort felt during the treatments is worth if we compare it with the pains before it.
